United we stand
On the19th of June 2009, Surfer Girl teamed up with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI, Palang Merah Indonesia) to hold a blood donation drive at the Surfer Girl main headquarters at 138. Jl. Legian. This event is a continuation from the range of social events that Surfer Girl did to celebrate their last birthday; Eleven Years of Happy Cheers!! The previous blood donation was done on 19th January 2009.
Although a lot of people were nervous, the goodness of giving something so precious to others in need won out and nerves were pushed aside as over 50 blood bags were successfully donated from the Surfer Girl family.
The blood donation event will now be done every 6 months as Surfer Girl believes that sharing is caring!
